Global Link Ultra E Pro Electronic Lock Installation - 2021 Palomino Columbus Fifth Wheel- Video
Hey guys, Kevin at etrailer, and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Global Link Ultra E Pro electronic door lock here on our 2021 Palomino Columbus River Ranch fifth wheel trailer. Having installed a lot of door handles myself on RVs, motor homes, everything you can imagine, it is super simple. Biggest thing is just making sure that you measure correctly beforehand and pick out the correct door handle. Now if you do have to opt for something a little bit bigger you can cut out more of your cutout there, kinda just trim it out a little bit more to fit that larger handle that you'd prefer. But you can't really kind of go back down unless you have a door handle that's also going to have a wide enough front on it to kind of cover up that if you do decide to go smaller. But other than that, I do like a lot of the features on this. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we'll be showing you how to install the Global Link RV entry door lock with keyed alike option here on our 2018 Forest River Grey Wolf travel trailer. On our Grey Wolf today, it has a front entry door which leads into the kitchen slash main living area of our camper and then it has a rear door which goes into the bathroom so that you have easier access to the bathroom without having to walk through the inside of the camper and get sand, mud, dirt whatever you have at the campsite all throughout the camper. Now the problem with that was that when the manufacturers made this, they made it two different key codes for the locks. So it's a little bit cumbersome to have multiple keys and if you run the risk of leaving that extra key at home then you have to go in through this door go all the way to the back to unlock that door so it becomes a bit of a hassle. Our new entry door locks are gonna fit a cutout hole in your RV door that is two and a half to three inches wide by three and a half to four inches tall. That's a pretty standard size for most RV trailers but you are wanna gonna pull that back plate off and just double check that measurement on your camper. more

A lot of time over the years your entry door lock can kind of get beat up. Maybe the keys don't really wanna fit in there right. Maybe it got kind of rusted out or maybe you're like some of the unfortunate people that email in saying I locked my keys in my camper and I had to drill out the lock. What's the replacement door lock for me The Global Link Entry Door Lock that we have today is a standard fit for most RV trailers and can be the solution for you. Our entry door lock is made out of a sturdy steel construction with a black powder coat finish and that's gonna help resist any rust. more
